NETWORK ASSIST

We propose to re-organize your computer network(s) and your Internet connection(s) so that they can be professionally managed from our Network Operations Center. To provide a managed digital infrastructure, it is required that we have a Business Quality Internet Connection – which coincidentally will solve problems you are experiencing with your aging network equipment. It will also radically improve Internet performance and allow some important capabilities that are impractical with your current setup; e.g., IP telephones and video conferencing.

We understand that you may have problems with wiring in your home or office. The solution is to have a Secure Local Area Network with a Wireless Access Point on each floor, positioned centrally and concealed from view. In this way, you will be able to synch up your mobile device or read your email on your laptop from any place in the house – no more need to store “bails of wire under your sofas”. With new wireless technology, you will have full Internet access at very close to the speed of a hard-wired connection. You’ll even be able to take your laptop out in the garden and work on those wonderful sunny days in spring and fall.

If you operate from multiple locations, such as a business office, home office, and perhaps a vacation home, RV, or boat, we would like to keep you connected to your systems at all times by creating a Private Wide Area Network. In a private network with wireless access, your laptop will be automatically connected to your systems regardless of location, and it will be possible to monitor what is happening in your home or office while you are not physically there.

If your network is down, you can call the Concierge Service Desk or click on the Digital Concierge Icon to request a service or to get a question answered. When you make a request, we’ll ask you to prioritize the request (by checking a box) so we’ll know your sense of urgency concerning the matter. Over time we’ll get a sense of the frequency of such requests and you will only be billed for the level of service that you actually require.
